2019 GRAND PRIZE
"This is an incredible opportunity to make a feature film and I want to take full advantage! Worst thing that happens is we don’t win but we have a feature film fleshed out and a scene to go with it!" - Erica Cullwell
"I think it's a marvelous initiative. It's so hard to get funding and as a woman making horror and thriller films I like to break boundaries and upset expectations and without people like you who could potentially support me, I would not be so able to do this."
- Jane Sanger
"As two women of color who have successfully made a couple of short films with a diverse team of like-minded professionals, we are hoping Women Making A Scene might bring us a chance to make our first narrative feature film to contribute to today's efforts to make Hollywood more diverse." - Esther Mira

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP ROLES
It is extremely important to bring equality to this industry, because film and television make up a large portion of the narrative from which our society teaches and learns.
Women Making a Scene promotes equality and inclusivity in modern media by requiring each participating team to have a woman in a leadership position.
